Elon Musk just said he was planning to break the law.
Musk just tweeted that he and Tesla intend to disobey public health orders and restart work at the electric car company's Fremont, California factory today.
Earlier today, California governor Gavin Newsom said it was too soon and that Tesla would likely be given the go-ahead sometime next week.
Tesla is restarting production today against Alameda County rules. I will be on the line with everyone else. If anyone is arrested, I ask that it only be me.
