Rare, natural, and unique fluorescent opal cut and polished by Steve Moriarty. This gem is from Zacatecas, Mexico and came out to weigh 7.27 carats! It was cut into a shield shape. This faceted rock really glows in sunlight and direct UV light!

They can indeed be quite brilliant out in the daylight:
