LET THE LITTLE CHILDREN COME TO ME
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of God
belongs to such as these.
Truly I tell you,
anyone who will not receive
the kingdom of God
like a little child
will never enter it.
—Jesus.
Even Conservative Christians aren't buying the administration's 'Biblical' talking points.

Here are some photos of the boys in the cafeteria.
This is not a school cafeteria.
Hundreds called to eat at a time on rotating shifts.
When I told @chrislhayes it felt like a prison or jail, I was thinking about this. pic.twitter.com/feZI46SPAc

I guess Sessions forgot about the Gospels part of the Bible. Matthew 25:35 says "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me".
Nothing in the Bible says to separate kids from parents. It teaches the opposite. https://t.co/gP5QfRtWuK

It is not biblical to treat migrants and refugees like animals.
It is not biblical to take children away from their parents.
It is not biblical to ignore the needs of the stranger.
It is not biblical to enforce unjust laws.
Do not use the Bible to justify sin. https://t.co/oApfyC9wJV— James Martin, SJ (@JamesMartinSJ) June 14, 2018

The Bible is trending because it was just used to justify ripping babies from their mothers’ arms and putting them in interment camps. Christians have a name for this: blasphemy.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you invited me in. I needed clothes and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me. I was in prison and you came to visit me." -Literally The Bible
