One of my favorite things on the internet is Crash Course, a free, high-quality educational YouTube channel that offers “crash courses” on science, math, history, literature, philosophy, and so much more. The channel’s latest project is a 12-week miniseries all about media literacy. Hosted by Jay Smooth, the series aims to give viewers “the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, create, and act using all forms of communication.” It’s hard to think of a more relevant tool to have in our current political and cultural climate.
