Watch Renée Elise Goldsberry perform a cut song from Hamilton

Renée Elise Goldsberry just wrapped up her final performance as Angelica Schuyler in the Tony-winning musical Hamilton. But before she left, she serenaded the final #Ham4Ham audience with a song that was cut from the show before its Broadway run.

Called “Congratulations,” the song was originally sung by Angelica to Alexander Hamilton after “The Reynolds Pamphlet.” Those who saw the show in its pre-Broadway run at the Public Theater were lucky enough to hear it there. But this is the first time Broadway audiences (or aficionados of the show’s cast recording) are getting to hear Goldsberry perform it. In other words: Look around at how lucky we are to be alive right now.
