Sweden's MOVITS! (presently touring the USA) plays music they call Äppelknyckarjazz ("Apple swiper jazz") that combines big-band swing with hip-hop that's infused with dancehall reggae-style rapping and declaiming (in Swedish).
I've been listening to it all morning, thanks to a tip from Andreas Ekberg (previously) and I haven't stopped seat-bopping yet. Literally not one dud track in an hour of constant listening.
Reading the band's Wikipedia page, I see that they appeared on Colbert in 2009 and attribute their popularity to "the Colbert bump."
