A fun weekend project: NASA's Orion papercraft model instructions for kids (and adults with childlike curiosity).

“The Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle will serve as our nation's next-generation exploration vehicle to expand human presence to asteroids, the moon, Lagrange points and missions to Mars,” says NASA. “The Orion spacecraft includes both crew and service modules, a spacecraft connector, and a launch abort system to ensure the safety of the crew.”
