Residents of Spalding, Lincolnshire, England were upset to see what appeared to be a crime scene investigation outside of the local Punchbowl pub. The area was cordoned off with police tape and a chalk outline and what appeared to be blood splatters were visible. Turns out, it was a retirement party for the police chief. Apparently, the pub's proprietor decorated the place to, er, liven up the festivities. (The Telegraph)
