After a Qatari potentate launched a bid to become president of FIFA itself, Valke emailed a colleague that Mohamed bin Hammam "thought you can buy FIFA as they bought the world cup." The Guardian has a photo of a bag of cash one football official claims that bin Hammam sent him.
