LOL: “The United States of America respectfully requests [that John Bolton] take any and all available steps to retrieve and dispose of any copies of The Room Where It Happened that may be in the possession of any third party in a manner acceptable to the United States.”

Here's a 116-page PDF of the Bolton book lawsuit along with all its exhibits https://t.co/3GfHPMHFva
It's filed against Bolton, not Simon & Schuster. Seeks to seize his $$. Also asks for an order that he try to persuade S&S to delay publication and pull back distributed copies.

DOJ just filed a lawsuit against John Bolton to prevent publication of his book.
They also uhmmm appear to have put Bolton's home address in the lawsuit caption, which I'm not sure how to handle…. so I took down the link to the complaint.

Unless DOJ is prepping to file a separate TRO motion in the next few hours, this was a throwaway line in the Complaint. The book comes out in mere days. https://t.co/1X5GazCAWG

Reminder: Absolutely nothing prevents John Bolton from sitting down in front of a camera and telling the public any and all non-classified information he knows. He could literally print his book out and read it as a script. https://t.co/9OB4AnOws3
