Donald Trump today spoke on Fox News about the wide condemnation of his St. John's Church photo op, which involved tear-gassing and brutalizing peaceful protesters and shoving priests out of the church.
Said Trump on Fox, about grasping the Bible with his tiny fingers, and shoving it above his shoulder outside St. John's:
"I think it was a beautiful picture. I’ll tell you, I think Christians think it was a beautiful picture."
Pres defends his St John's photo op last week. "I think it was a beautiful picture…and I think Christians think it was a beautiful picture." As for objections from SecDef Esper and Gen Milley about being part of his entourage for that event, Pres doesn't think it's significant.

Asked about Milley’s apology for his role in the photo-op, Trump said, “I think it was a beautiful picture. And I’ll tell ya, I think Christians think it was a beautiful picture.”
(Some Christians have said so; others, including leaders of that church, have expressed outrage.)
