A Cape Town diner wins Guinness World Record for most milkshake flavors

If you dined at Gibson's Gourmet Burgers and Ribs every Saturday night, it would take four years (minus one weekend) to try every milkshake flavor on the menu. So it's for obvious reasons that this burger and milkshake joint in Cape Town, South Africa, that offers 207 different milkshakes, earned the Guinness World Record for "Most Varieties of Milkshakes Commercially Available."

Flavors include the usuals, like vanilla and chocolate, as well as more creative concoctions, like jelly and custard, coffee and donut, brandy tart, rocky road, kit kat, rosewater and marshmallow, nutella, and orange blossom and pansies, just to name a few.

And if you're a restaurant owner with a competitive streak, don't even think about trying to beat this record. Gibson's co-owner Ian Halfon says (in the video below) that if someone attempts to put 207 milkshake flavors on their menu, he'll just add another one to his.
