Technology investor, Gawker foe, and alleged thirst-er of young people's blood Peter Thiel is trending on Twitter today.
Here's why. Peter Thiel told Fox News he's a-skeered of that big ole nasty Democrat lady Elizabeth Warren. The co-founder of PayPal, Palantir, and Founders Fund also more or less accused Google of treason. Yes, it's really this weird in America today.
Peter Thiel said in a Fox & Friends interview that in the 2020 field of Democratic presidential candidates, he is “most scared by Elizabeth Warren.”
“She's the only one that is talking about the economy, which is the one that matters the most.”
BOO!
Now I KNOW I gotta vote for her.
Also in the surprisingly news-generating Tuesday Fox & Friends newsbrief, Thiel inspired President Trump to promise to look into Thiel's baseless claim that Google committed treason.
Thiel is connected to a number of interesting companies which are in turn connected in interesting ways to the U.S. government under the Trump administration. It'll be interesting to see what is revealed in news reports, as things unfold.

Given that Peter Thiel
– brought us Palantir, which ICE uses to conduct raids
– personally ended Gawker bc their criticism made him sad
this sounds like an A+ anti-endorsement for Warren https://t.co/9pVBEg0U1N— Alexis Goldstein ? (@alexisgoldstein) July 16, 2019
Peter Thiel argues that Google should be investigated for treason and calls Elizabeth Warren, Google's bitter enemy, the most dangerous candidate.
Which shows how complicated tech politics are right now.

Bloomberg fails to mention that a Palantir employee helped build the Cambridge Analytica data harvesting scheme. Will someone please report on Palantir’s Census Bureau contracts and the concerns that they also provide services to DHS/CPB/ICE/JFC https://t.co/09InWrDrId

I was already pretty much all in on @ewarren, but if Peter Thiel hates her, I feel even better about my choice: https://t.co/x8aoNt90jg
