Fortnite Battle Royale and "The Mystery of the Weird Cube"

Speculating about what the hell is actually happening to the in-game universe, and odd backstory, is a Fortnite fan favorite activity.

Fortnite is the Battle Royale game that has taken the world by storm. FN takes place on an Island, in a storm. Weird things, aside from player emotes, are afoot on Fortnite Island. Aficionados are aware of a strange purple cube that suddenly appeared on said Island, accompanied by lot of lightning strikes, rifts, sturm und drang.

In addition to the constant stream of player eliminations and dancing, Fornite now includes speculation about The Cube.
