Attaching a helicopter blade to a boat-pulled dinghy sounds like a great idea on paper, but can it fly? Behold the Giro Boat.

Check out this archive footage of a super unique innovation in water sports, the Giro Boat or essentially a boat that flies. 26 year old designer, John Hofstetter, came up with this invention that never quite took off in popular culture.

While that looks like fun, there’s no way the FAA would approve that contraption for the general public. That looks more dangerous than Jarts.
