"He dictated that whole letter. I didn't write that letter," Bornstein told CNN on Tuesday. "I just made it up as I went along."
In an interview with CNN today, Dr. Harold Bornstein said that the strange letter he signed in 2015 [document link] about then candidate Donald Trump's health was bullshit.
"His physical strength and stamina are extraordinary," he said in the letter released by the Trump presidential campaign in December, 2015. "If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency."
As a presidential candidate, I have instructed my long-time doctor to issue, within two weeks, a full medical report-it will show perfection

Bornstein now tells CNN that Trump dictated the letter, word for word, as many of us suspected when we first heard the weird prose.
Breaking: President Trump dictated 2015 letter his doctor wrote declaring him the “healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency” says letter’s author Dr. Harold Bornstein. “He dictated that whole letter. I didn't write that letter," Bornstein told CNN’s @MarquardtA

He said Trump read out the language as Bornstein and his wife were driving across Central Park.
"(Trump) dictated the letter and I would tell him what he couldn't put in there," he said. "They came to pick up their letter at 4 o'clock or something."
Yeah yeah everybody is elaborately ‘not surprised.’ This letter was the only medical information about the future president offered to voters before Election Day. The doctor deceived the whole country about his professional opinion. Take his damn license.

The dictation is abnormal, a doctor agreeing to it is abnormal and a doctor talking about it is abnormal https://t.co/2B78VbBN8l

Bornstein's letter was always, obviously, bullshit:
No physician would say an examination showed "positive results," which is language for a test returning a positive for the presence of something. Exams are "normal/abnormal." https://t.co/UwnMjJB8x1

NEW: Dr. Bornstein tells @nbcnews that glowing letter released under his name during campaign, declaring Trump's health as "astonishingly excellent" was written by Trump. The assertion that Trump would be "the healthiest individual ever elected," he says was "just black humor."

So, Bornstein is saying these were Trump’s words about… himself >>
“His physical strength and stamina are extraordinary. If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”
