New York-based filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, best known for his 2004 indie documentary Super Size Me, admitted Wednesday in a long online confessional that he has a history of sexual abuse towards women.

His detailed admission begins:
As I sit around watching hero after hero, man after man, fall at the realization of their past indiscretions, I don’t sit by and wonder “who will be next?” I wonder, “when will they come for me?”
You see, I’ve come to understand after months of these revelations, that I am not some innocent bystander, I am also a part of the problem.
He then goes on to catalog his history of sexual misconduct from alleged rape to paying off a former assistant for sexual harassment to a lifetime of infidelity. You can read the essay in its entirety here.
