Shortly after Friday morning’s terror attack with a crude bomb in a London Underground train in which 23 people were injured, Trump did the usual tweet-before-you-know-anything jig.
“Another attack in London by a loser terrorist. These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard. Must be proactive!”

British Prime Minister Theresa May was not pleased with Trump’s tweet. “I never think it’s helpful for anybody to speculate on what is an ongoing investigation.”
The problem with Trump’s tweet is that “his comments appeared to point the finger at British police, who had not released any information about suspects,” says NBCNews. “It was not immediately clear how Trump obtained his information, or if he had revealed classified details.”
And May’s former Chief of Staff Nick Timothy was even harsher about Trump’s impulsive reaction, tweeting that it was “so unhelpful from leader of our ally and intelligence partner.”
True or not – and I'm sure he doesn't know – this is so unhelpful from leader of our ally and intelligence partner. https://t.co/ZndrTXFrAX

This isn’t the first time Trump tweeted with ignorance regarding a terror attack in London.
According to NBCNews:
Trump was widely criticized for tweets in the wake of the June attack. He described Khan as “pathetic” for saying Londoners had “no reason to be alarmed” by the visible increase in armed police officers in response to the attack — apparently misinterpreting the mayor’s words as a comment on Islamic extremism.
Eight months down, 40 more to go.
