How to make hikaru dorodango, shiny mud balls

Over the years, Bruce Gardner has mastered the Japanese craft of hikaru dorodango, polished mud balls that literally mean "shiny dumplings."

"He first learned about the practice from the sci-fi writer William Gibson, and the rest is history. Bruce is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico."
