Meat brand Oscar Mayer has announced the latest additions to its WienerFleet and frankly, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't relishing the news.
Their fleet already includes the iconic Wienermobile, the WienerMini (a hotdog-shaped MINI Cooper), and the four-wheeling, off-roading Wiener Rover. This summer, to introduce their new line of less-wurst* dogs, they've added two new branded vehicles. The first is the WienerCycle which is a three-wheeled moped designed for "tricky urban deliveries." It's pretty cool looking with its sweet sidecar which also acts a hotdog warming station.
But, the one that really kicks buns is the WienerDrone, a small 6.5 pound drone that drops warm meat from the sky. They report that it's the "first unmanned hot dog-carrying aircraft designed for remote location delivery."
If you're trying to ketchup, that means it will rain fewer cats and more dogs this summer.
*They're removing "all added nitrates and nitrites, by-products and artificial preservatives from the meat" in their "entire line of hot dogs."
