What started as a hobby making clay flowers turned into Russian artist Alisa Laryushkina’s charming animal sculptures.
Despite being born in Siberia (or perhaps because of it), Alisa says “I love warm weather, palm trees, coconuts and multicolor things.”
Polymer clay is a great crafting medium for kids who are old enough to know they can never eat it. Alisa uses the air-dry type, but oven-baked kinds are a little easier to work with, since they stay pretty malleable until baked.
