Cecily Strong weighs in on the fauxminist epidemic

Spend enough time in progressive circles, and you'll run into the type of guy lampooned here: the guy who uses progressive catchphases as pickup lines. This skit feels ripped from the headlines of recent podcast drama.

For those who are not aware, amidst quite a bit of recent drama, the co-host of popular progressive podcast Citizen Radio was asked to leave the show by his own spouse after a number of "disturbing accusations" surfaced regarding inappropriate behavior.

What's most aggravating about allegations like these (to me, anyway) is that they are invariably seized upon by opponents of progressive views. And remember, the SNL skit is just a skit, not a documentary. #NotAllMaleFeminists
