Photochrome: keyword-generated impressionistic color palettes

Photochrome is a nifty algorithm that generates a color palette based on a keyword you enter. It compiles all images in their database tagged with your keyword and averages the results into RGB and hex values.

Your results can be saved. Prepare to go down a rabbit hole of typing in random words! From the site:

PhotoChrome was made by John Nelson and Vanni Zhang. We’re engineers at Esri, a geographic information systems software company. In the evenings, we can’t help ourselves cobbling together stuff like this. We made PhotoChrome as a convenient resource to generate hopefully-useful color palettes based on words. You type a word, and we’ll give you a color palette to match.
