Courtroom smackdown! Judge and defendant get nasty

Dramatis personae: Denver Fenton Allen, a murder defendant. Bryan Durham, a Superior Court judge. And everyone watching in the peanut gallery-cum-courthouse in Rome, Ga., when things got fiery in Floyd County.

The action started when Allen told the judge to fuck himself. Summarized here from a transcript posted by Keith Lee

Durham: I — I am finding — I’m finding you in contempt of court.

Allen: I don’t care.

Durham: I know you don’t. And I sentence you to 20 days for that. And if you say anything else, I’m going to add 20 days for everything you say.

Allen: Fuck you.

Durham: Forty days.

Allen: Fuck you again.

Durham: Sixty.

Allen: Go fuck yourself.

Durham: A year.

Allen: Your mama.

Durham: Ten years.

Allen: Suck my dick.

Durham: You know something, this is going to be an interesting trial.

[more bickering between them]

Allen: You reckon if I let you suck my dick that I could get a fair trial here?

Durham: Oh, I don't think so.

Allen: I've got a big dick now, and If I pull it out…

Durham: I don't think that's doing to get you a fair trial unless you have every one of the jurors do it.

[more bickering between them]

Allen: I've got a big old donkey dick.

Durham: I'm sure the women love it.

Allen: I don't fuck girls. … I fuck boys.

[discussion of the sexiest types of boy]

Durham:… You know, you look like a queer.

Allen: Well, okay. So now you’re calling me a queer in the courtroom.

Durham: I didn’t call you one. I said you looked like one.

Allen: You're yelling.

[Judge Durham gets angry]

Allen: “How about this? I’ll kill your whole family. When I get in this trial, I will murder your whole family. I’ll cut your children up into pieces. I’ll knock their brains out with a fucking hammer and feed them to you.”

Durham: [To reporter] “Are–are you taking this down?”

Reporter: I am.

My summary here does not to justice to the full transcript, which has them arguing at much greater length about dicks and boys and such. The inmate has a genuine gift for luring the judge into making compromising remarks by pretending to be stupider than he is, but of course both men are quite stupid enough.
