I spoke to KCRW Press Play host Madeleine Brand today about some of the macabre social media details coming out of the Orlando Pulse mass shooting in Florida, and the terrorist attack two days later on a police officer and his family in Paris.
Omar Mateen, the killer in Orlando, posted on Facebook during his attack and did vanity searches to see if "Pulse" was trending.
Two days after the Orlando massacre, a jihadist killer in Paris live-streamed his lethal attack on a police commander and his family using Facebook Live video.
We also speak about the DNC hack (whodunit?) and an important net neutrality development in our weekly web roundup.
