Let's dispel with this fiction that Marco Rubio knows what he's doing. He doesn't know exactly what he's doing.
The BBC reports on the former Republican presidential candidate's "Twitter tirade" last night, described by one wit as "losing the 2020 New Hampshire primary four years ahead of schedule."
The string of angry missives was in response to an article at The Washington Post, which reported that the Florida senator is "betwixt and between when it comes to his next move".
Mr. Rubio tried to put out the fire with his patent brand of sweaty-palmed gasoline: "Funny to read about unnamed 'people close' to me who claim to know my thinking on future plans."
On anonymous sources he claimed know nothing: "Reporters desperate for content just accept it."
Then, on speculations he was at sea: "Ummmm Not Really."
"I have only said like 10000 times I will be a private citizen in January."
Finally, the Kanyesque ramblings subsided, ending on a drug abuse joke and a double ellipsis.
"OK that's enough for one night. Twitter isn't something you should rush back into. You have to slowly increase the dosage……"
