In the puzzle game Skipping Stones to Lonely Homes, you’re a sailor who has washed ashore on a desert island. In order to repair your ship, you’ll need to explore the islands around you by skipping rocks across the water to move giant lilypad bridges into place.
Created by Alan Hazelden with the Puzzlescript game engine, it’s a simple little game but a surprisingly challenging one. It’s very easy to push a rock where you can’t reach it or simply send it skipping off into the wrong direction, though you can push Z to take one step back, or push R to forgive all sins and reset the level.
Skipping Stones to Lonely Homes is also free, and you can play it right now in your browser. Also, if you leave the tab open in the background you can listen to the soothing sound of warbling birds and ocean waves lapping gently at the shore, which I have been doing all day and recommend.
