The Secret Service raid on Austin's Steve Jackson Games started the fight over freedom and privacy online, and resulted in the founding of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and EFF-Austin.
On the twentieth anniversary of the SJG raid, Pete Kennedy (who argued the case), Bruce Sterling (author of Hacker Crackdown) and EFF-Austin President Jon Lebkowsky sat down to discuss the raid and its ramifications. Unfortunately, the video of that panel was lost for three years (!), but has finally resurfaced!
I podcasted a reading of the whole text of The Hacker Crackdown, Bruce Sterling's seminal history of the raid and its aftermath.
