The skull of FW Murnau, the director of the classic vampire film Nosferatu (1922), has been stolen from his grave in Stahnsdorf, Germany.
According to the cemetery, Murnau’s gravesite has been disturbed before.
This time, investigators found wax in the tomb, apparently suggesting that candles were lit and, you guessed it, an “occult” motive for the crime.
