DJ/producer Kieran Hebden recently released a surprise album under his alter ego Percussions. Just last week in a new surprise move, he released a new recording as Four Tet a few weeks ahead of that record's planned release date.

Both sides feature samples of the great Indian vocalist Lata Mangeshkar. I've been playing them nonstop since the stream made the rounds last Thursday, and have been leaving it on loop all day long.

Consequence of Sound:

Morning/Evening serves as the follow-up to 2013’s Beautiful Rewind. The album is just two tracks, one titled "Morning" and the other "Evening", clocking in at a total of 40-minutes and 17-seconds. In celebration of the first official day of summer, Four Tet has made the record available online via Bandcamp.

CD and vinyl versions are out now on Text Records. Stream and/or purchase the whole thing below.
