Our friends at Atlas Obscura compiled a far out Illustrated Guide to Space Maps. Below, the Nebra Sky Dick (1600 BCE), "the earliest depiction of outer space we’ve ever found, and it’s also thought to be the oldest known portable astronomical instrument."
