Scholars' collaboration tool starts with cloning existing materials

Mark writes, "ACLS Workbench encourages scholars to share their materials and even allow others to copy or clone them."

The goal is to move scholars away from the monk in the cloister model into a mode of collaboration, sharing their materials, inviting others to investigate with them.

We have posted an initial demonstration with Reading Project, the online companion to our new book. Visitors to the site can take a look, clone it, or start their own.

The site is built on ANVC Scalar, a tool developed at USC, which fosters multimedia argumentation.
