Carla is fond of her stainless steel Brew-in-Mug Extra-fine Tea Infuser ($(removed)). Here's why:
- It fits the mugs we already have (It fits perfectly into mugs with a diameter greater than 2-7/8").
- The holes are tiny to prevents leaf particles from passing through but the infuser is very porous.
- It has a silicon rimmed lid to keep the tea warm as it steeps.
- The lid flips over to hold the infuser when you remove it from the mug.
The mesh is so fine that it also makes a dandy strainer for making Greek style yogurt. Just pour regular yogurt into it and let the water drain through the holes to yield thick, almost spreadable, yogurt.
