Want to know your destiny? Then get ready to physically fight with your closest pals.
The game Fortune Catcher by MUYO is a bit similar to the crane games of old, except that instead of fruitlessly grasping at stuffed Pokemon toys at the back of your local supermarket, you're trying to snag a crystal ball with a digital metal claw before your opponent can do the same. Win, and you'll receive a little golden ticket that presumably tells your fortune. But the far more satisfying goal is trouncing your opponent in a real-life King of the Mountain-style battle for control of the keyboard.
Each time you play the controls are randomized, meaning that the buttons you need to navigate your claw hand are scattered across the keyboard. And since keyboards aren't actually made for two sets of hands, you'll have to jockey for that precious real estate by pushing and grappling with the other play off-screen as well.
It's a pretty physical game, so remember to be clear ahead of time about boundaries for touching, wrestling, and fair play in general. But if you enjoy rough-housing with your pals and receiving randomized messages about your potential future, Fortune Catcher is a great way to spend an afternoon and/or ruin a friendship. It's currently only available for Windows, but you can download it—and pay what you want for it—here.
