Motown 25: rebroadcast tomorrow of unforgettable 1983 TV special

Do you remember when Michael Jackson debuted his moonwalk on the absolutely fantastic 1983 TV special Motown 25 – Yesterday, Today, Forever? That program hasn't rebroadcast since, but on Saturday night, PBS will air it in its entirety.

I'll never forget watching it the first time as it introduced me to an array of artists (and an incredible story of music and culture) that remain some of my favorites to this day. Recently, my 8-year-old son has become a deep Motown fan himself, digging in the used record bins for original vinyl by The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, and Stevie Wonder. In fact, he recently watched several low-quality clips from Motown 25 on YouTube. Our family can't wait to watch the whole thing together on PBS! We are incredibly excited about this rebroadcast and also the new seven-CD box set Motown: Big Hits & More.
