A humorous take on the YA superhero novel! Penelope wants to become a superhero, just like Mom and Dad, but things don’t quite go according to plan in Please Don’t Tell My Parents I’m a Supervillain.
Penelope and her best friends are out patrolling, trying to become superheroes, just like her parents when they have a run in with the sidekick of another hero. Mislabelled as villains the teens decide to go for it! Watch Penelope hide her activities with parents who assume she’ll use her powers for good.
Middle schoolers coming to grips with super powers and hero parents distracted by their own issues leads to a fantastic send-up of the genre! I hear Richard Roberts’ second book in the series is even better.
