I will be joining my brother, DJ/filmmaker/radio host Carl Hamm, for a brother-sister radio show tonight on WRIR radio.
Carl has been hosting his "If Music Could Talk" show on this Richmond, Virginia LPFM radio station for almost 10 years, and this is the first time we will be doing that together.
Below, a photo of a Christmas mixtape I gave my brother about 30 years ago. We will be playing many of the tracks from this cassette during the show.
Listen live tonight, Sunday December 28 2014, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm ET online. You'll also be able to listen to the archived program via carlhamm.net.
WRIR is one of the only truly cool independent radio stations in Virginia, a rare spot for progressive news and music. They welcome your donations to keep it going.
Radio geeks: WRIR is an LPFM, or low-power FM radio station. Of all the U.S. stations granted this license class by the FCC, WRIR is probably the one with the largest listening audience. Carl has been with them since the very beginning.
