Self-taught San Francisco-based painter Alex Huxley‘s work is “anchored by haunting cityscapes definitively of the American West Coast and the ghostly remnants of its historic migration.”
His cinematic scenes serve as “historical records of place, time and architectural style as well as the settings for surreal narratives.”
If you’re in San Francisco, his work is in a show at Gauntlet Gallery, opening Saturday, Nov. 8.
