Dead car and motorcycle batteries really drive me crazy. The Xtreme Charge XP100 keeps my batteries healthy.
I had been using cheaper battery chargers, they never really did the job. I got tired of needing new batteries for the motorcycles and VW Westy. The local marine battery guys in Sausalito told me I was wasting money on the $20-25 chargers I kept trying. They suggested this awesome XP100, swearing pulsating desulfation was the answer.
I read up a bit on "does pulse charging really help?" The answer appears to be "in some cases." My bikes seem to do really well with it. I have sealed lead batteries in both. I install permanent charging pigtails on all my vehicles and can just plug in whenever I think it prudent. After any ride on the R75/6, I recharge it. I'm trying to resurrect the main battery on my VW Vanagon Westfalia now.
I've let batteries sit for over a year, charged them with the XP100 for a few days and found they perform wonderfully. Occasionally, reading reviews, people have bad results so YMMV. The device is plug and play, there is really nothing to it.
