Photographer Glen E. Friedman’s new book, “My Rules,” is being released on the 20th anniversary of the original publication of “Fuck You Heroes,” his landmark punk/skate/hiphop tome.
This is Friedman’s first large-format coffeetable book with Rizzoli, released today, and features incredible images of so many great bands, performers, and personalities that made eighties underground culture legendary. Do not sleep on this one: [Amazon Link].

“It’s a mother fucking, ass kicking, monster,” says Glen of the book. No kidding: 11.5″ tall by 13″ wide, 324-page hardcover glory.
In addition to the gorgeous photos, the book features written contributions from the likes of Tony Alva, Ian MacKaye, Ice-T, Henry Rollins, LL Cool J, Chuck D., Keith Morris, Jello Biafra, Rick Rubin, Adam Horovitz, C.R. Stecyk III, and Shepard Fairey.
