Biopic on Dock Ellis, pitcher famed for 1970 LSD-fueled no-hitter, now in theaters

We’ve been blogging our excitement about a Kickstartered documentary on psychedelic baseball pitcher Dock Ellis for years — the film was finished, and opens in theaters this week.

“No No: A Dockumentary” chronicles the amazing life of the “Muhammad Ali of Baseball,” and is not to be missed. Ellis was a player for the Pittsburgh Pirates who in 1970 pitched a no-hitter while tripping balls on LSD.
