The debut of ‘Better Call Saul,’ the ‘Breaking Bad‘ spinoff show starring Bob Odenkirk, has been delayed until early 2015. The new series will span time before, during, and after the events depicted in ‘Breaking Bad.’

To get fans psyched for the new series, AMC has announced a ‘Breaking Bad’ marathon that begins August 10th and runs until October 5th. Episodes will air each Sunday night from 5PM-1AM EST. The rerun schedule will offer previously unseen crew and cast interviews, and new behind-the-scenes commentary and footage.

From THR:

For fans missing all of the show’s departed characters, creator Vince Gilligan revealed in his The Hollywood Reporter cover story that he wanted Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) to return for cameos. The spinoff is still months away, with it slated for an early 2015 debut.

From Rolling Stone:

Ever since Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan announced plans for the new series, he’s been teasing the possibility that Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) could appear on Saul – at least in cameo form – since the show was originally planned as a prequel to the events on Bad. Earlier this week, co-showrunner Peter Gould told the New York Daily News that the upcoming series (which focuses on the life and crimes of criminal lawyer Saul Goodman) will flash back and forth over the course of several decades, allowing more chances to bring back Bad characters.
