The E3 trade show already has one winner—Ubisoft’s upcoming Watch Dogs—but resentment at Microsoft and Sony’s inane press events, light on new titles, was the order of the day. John Walker at RPS sums it up: “I wonder how long it will be until the reality of the industry will be represented in these events. … so long as the attending press sit there whooping until they vomit, perhaps that will be a bloody long time.”
