Dear Prudence dissects Limbaugh's horrible apology

“I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke. My remarks about her were false, cruel, and repulsive. There’s no excuse and I offer none. I seriously crossed the line and I am sorry.”

That’s how Limbaugh ought to have apologized, says Emily Yoffe, who writes Slate’s “Dear Prudence” column. I agree. A real apology will win you points on both sides. I wonder what prevented Limbaugh from doing this?
