Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith received a lot of praise from critics happy to finally see a passable new Star Wars movie. But let's face it: it has real failings — motivation, consistency, tone — that were obscured by more obvious flaws in the prequel trilogy that we'd already made our peace with. So we focused on the epic tragic awesomeness and let it go.
Harry S. Plinkett's NSFW 110-minute review takes that gimme and shoves it where it belongs. In the words of one reader of Roger Ebert, it "doesn't rip Episode III into 1000 pieces so much as completely disintegrate it into dust."
