Jesse Thorn, host of The Sound of Young America has become one of my favorite podcasters. His interviews with writers, artists, musicians, and other creative people are always fascinating, because he asks great questions and then stays quiet long enough to let the interviewee provide a full, meaningful answer.
Three interviews that I've enjoyed in recent weeks:
1.) Julie Snyder is the senior producer of the public radio program This American Life, as well as an executive producer of the television version of that show.
2.) and 3.) The other two interviews, with Neal Pollack, author of Alternadad, and Jackson Publick, co-creator of Adult Swim's The Venture Brothers, are too recent to be available on the show archives, but if you subscribe to the podcast, you can listen to them now.
