The entire bed-part of this platform bed is hinged and supported by hydraulic lifts so you can lift it up to expose acres of storage. Drool.

Update: Matt sez, "these are common (in smaller versions) on board Navy ships. They are usually stacked three-high and are called Coffin Lockers or Coffin Racks."
