Astronaut Neil Armstrong is threatening to sue a Cincinnati, Ohio barber who collected his chopped hair and sold it to a collector last year for $3,000. Apparently, Armstrong will sue if barbershop owner Marx Sizemore doesn’t give his profits to charity or return the hair. Sizemore says he won’t pay and that the new owner won’t part with the prize. From the Associated Press:
Sizemore said he sold the hair to an agent for John Reznikoff, a Westport, Conn., collector listed by Guinness World Records as having the largest collection of hair from historical celebrities. The collection, insured for $1 million, includes hair from Abraham Lincoln, Marilyn Monroe, Albert Einstein and Napoleon.
