Free kernel speech. Starting today, a variety of AM, FM, shortwave and Internet radio stations around the world will begin a broadcast of an automated voice reading the source for the Linux kernel — all 4,141,432 lines of it. The estimated time to completion is nearly two years (by which point, presumably, the code will be obsolete and superceded by a more recent version). No, I don't understand it either, but the idea tickles me nonetheless. I wonder if the broadcast will be licensed under the Open Audio License?
