The Totally Kid Carousel in uptown Manhattan looks incredible. To keep to a budget, the designer eschewed elaborate carved animals, electing, instead, to have local schoolchildren draw bulbous, simplified animals, which he then contructed ridable versions of out of foam and fiberglass.
